Without a sound scientific research in this area there may not be any effective specialist training, that’s why Scientific Research Institute of Information Processes is created at the ACTS department, which consists of scientific research laboratories (SRL):

Laboratory Data Transfer Systems and Telecommunications (526,524-18).Supervisor – О. Rolik

- research and development of basic methods and devices for data transmission;
- research and development of methods and devices for secure information transfer;
- industrial, telecommunications and computer networks management, etc.
Laboratory Computerized control systems (522-18).Supervisor – P. Kravets
Main directions of scientific work:
- research and development of automated process control systems;
- research and development of systems with fuzzy logic;
- research and development of neural-based control systems;
- research and development of robust systems.
Laboratory automated information conversion and transmission systems (434/3-18).Supervisor – V. Grishko
Main directions of scientific work:
- development of primary and secondary converters for process automation;
- development of automated process control systems;
- ensuring the reliability of automated process control systems.
