At the Web Summit 2023 in Lisbon, the IST department presented two models: a bionic prosthesis and a drone for the study of water bodies.
The author and developer of the bionic prosthesis is Stepan Korol, a student of the IS-31mn group. Teacher Mykola Shynkevych and engineer Dmytro Chakir helped Stepan create a bionic hand prosthesis.
The drone for the study of reservoirs is part of a powerful reservoir monitoring system that is being developed at the department. The drone was created by Natan Smolii, a student of the IC-01 group, teachers Mikhailo Polishchuk, Oleksandr Rolik, Mykola Shynkevych, and engineer Dmytro Chakir.
Students – project developers could not participate in the Web Summit due to known circumstances. But our students Sofiia Hohol (Gr. IS-12), Iryna Kumanetska (Gr. IP-15), Sofiia Pavlova (Gr. IC-12) and Elyzaveta Yarmolenko (Gr. IC-23) flawlessly presented projects in Lisbon.
